Dr. Vaudreuil’s undergraduate education was at Gonzaga University in Spokane, where he double majored in chemistry and Spanish and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He was president, captain, and 4 year varsity player for the Gonzaga men’s lacrosse team. Dr. Vaudreuil received his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle. For orthopedic surgery residency, he trained at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) In Pittsburgh, PA, where he learned from world leaders in orthopedics and sports medicine. He received an award as the most outstanding resident at his graduation, and he also served as chief editor of the Pittsburgh Orthopedic Journal in 2019-2020. Dr. Vaudreuil completed an additional year as Clinical Instructor of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh, where he taught orthopedic residents and received additional training and experience in sports medicine and orthopedic trauma.

Dr. Nicholas Vaudreuil (pronounced vo-dray) is an orthopedic surgeon with advanced accredited fellowship training in sports medicine, including hip arthroscopy. Consistent with his athletic background, he is focused on returning athletes to full function after hip, knee, shoulder and elbow injury and surgery. Dr. Vaudreuil is very excited to treat patients of all ages and activity levels across the Puget Sound.

Nicholas Vaudreuil, MD, (pronounced vo-dray) is an orthopedic surgeon with advanced accredited fellowship training in sports medicine, including hip arthroscopy, at Kerlan-Jobe Institute in Los Angeles.

During his time in fellowship, Dr. Vaudreuil cared for professional as well as Olympic, collegiate, and high school level athletes. Dr. Vaudreuil served as assistant team physician for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Rams, among other professional sports teams in the Los Angeles area. He served as team physician for Loyola Marymount University’s NCAA D1 men’s and women’s athletics. Consistent with his athletic background, he is focused on returning athletes to full function after hip, knee, shoulder and elbow injury, and surgery. Dr. Vaudreuil is excited to treat patients of all ages and activity levels.

He enjoys spending time with his family, watching movies, snowboarding, waterskiing, hiking, and travel.
